The history of the Basilica is impressive. You will get information about the alternating pillars‘ system and the stained glass windows created by various artists. In the crypt is the tomb of Saint Willibrord, the founder of Echternach. You will enter the Documentation Centre of the Hopping Procession and you will get information about this Immaterial UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.
On sundays, you can visit the Basilica only after 12.30 pm.
