In the Mullerthal Region, you can visit various castles and castle ruins, including a castle that has remained practically intact since it had been built.
The old castle of Beaufort was built between 1150 and 1650. At the beginning of the 20th century, the castle was restored and was opened to the public only a few years later. The Renaissance castle next door was inhabited until 2012 and can be visited. After visiting the castle, be sure to try the delicious Cassero still produced in the cellars of the castle!
The castle of Larochette stands on a rocky outcrop and towers majestically over the charming village of Larochette. The Bourglinster Castle can only be visited during a tour with a guide.
