Natura 2000 area - Valley of the Lower Sûre
To the east of the Mullerthal Region - Luxembourg's Little Switzerland is the flora and fauna area of the lower Sûre valley, which extends from Echternach to Wasserbillig and includes part of the plateau. Of these, 87% of the forest is deciduous forest, most of which are pearlgrass woodruff and beech forests. 46% of this area is used for agriculture.
