Where? Abteihof Echternach, L-6401 ECHTERNACH Music Festivals

Echterlive 2025

When Ronan Keating answered a newspaper advert to audition for a brandnew Irish boyband in 1993, he would have been hard pressed to believe that nearly 30 years later he would still be going strong. Singer, songwriter, broadcaster, TV presenter, actor, charity campaigner, loving husband and dedicated father… Ronan has never felt more inspired by life and his multifaceted career.

.

Ronan Keating's impressive music career began in 1994 with the boy band Boyzone. Their first hit song, ‘Love Me For A Reason’, immediately entered the top three of the single charts. From then on, Ronan's path in the music scene was unstoppable. With Boyzone being one of the biggest pop bands of the nineties, he achieved six number one hits and a total of 16 top five singles. In August 1999, he landed his first solo number-one single, ‘When You Say Nothing At All’, from the soundtrack of the hit movie ‘Notting Hill’.

In 2004, Ronan celebrated his first decade in the music industry with the album ‘Ronan Keating - 10 Years Of Hits’. The album went straight to number 1 and sold almost 2.5 million copies worldwide. Over the years, Ronan Keating has released several successful albums, including ‘Bring You Home’ (2006) with the hits ‘All Over Again’ and ‘Iris’, as well as ‘Time Of My Life’ (2016), on which he was more involved in the songwriting.

But alongside his love of music, Ronan Keating has also discovered his passion for radio. In 2017, he joined Magic Radio as co-host of the morning show ‘Magic Breakfast’, expanding his repertoire as a radio host. During the pandemic, which has been a challenge for many musicians, Ronan released the studio album ‘Twenty Twenty’ to celebrate his 20th year as a solo artist. In 2021, he once again proved his versatility as a TV presenter in the BBC prime-time show ‘The One Show’, as well as a judge on ITV's ‘The Voice Kids’ and, most recently, ‘The Voice of Germany’.

.

Ronan Keating is also a committed charity campainer. Following the death of his mother in 1998, Ronan and his family set up the Marie Keating Foundation which now, in partnership with Cancer Research UK, raises huge amounts of money every year towards cancer education and research, in his mother’s memory.

Exciting plans are in the works for 2024: Ronan Keating will go on tour again. Audiences can look forward to his unique live performance, because Ronan Keating is not only a radio presenter and TV personality, but above all a gifted singer and performer who brings the stage to life with his music.
