A grand piano is a grand piano and remains a grand piano? With Queenz of Piano, there are no limits to playing the keys. In their almost infinite piano cosmos, the two pianists combine the virtuosity and depth of classical music with the atmosphere of a pop concert. They break down the boundaries between Bach and beats, e- and U-music, high and pop culture! Their original way of playing the piano is combined with electronic sounds to create a total work of art: a contemporary piano concert! The two pianists interpret rock and pop hits by Lady Gaga, Daft Punk and Nirvana in a completely new way - brilliantly and originally arranged!
The QUEENZ are at home on the most prestigious stages and at the most renowned classical music festivals. They have performed at the Ruhr Piano Festival, the Schumann Festival in Bonn and the Bechstein Piano Festival, among others. With their energetic stage show and charming moderations, they also take the hearts of the audience by storm internationally (Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, England, Portugal, France, Poland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria), which is why their show is now available in four different languages. In 2018, the South China Morning Post headlined ‘A musical extravaganza’ on the occasion of the five-week tour through China. This was followed by invitations to the Acropolis in Nice and the Classic Delights Festival in Hong Kong. QUEENZ OF PIANO were selected to represent Germany musically at the EXPO 2019 in Beijing. They have been guests on television shows such as MDR-Die große Show der Stars, ZDF Morgenmagazin, NDR DAS!, ARTE Concert.
.The show exists in a version with a symphony orchestra and was performed together with the Babelsberg Film Orchestra, the Vogtland Philharmonic Orchestra and the Leipzig Symphony Orchestra. At the Elbland Festival, the Queenz were guests alongside other artists such as Paul Potts, among others, and thrilled an audience of 5000 at the Rock Classics Open Air.
From autumn 2024, the new entertainment programme will be coming to live stages and QUEENZ OF PIANO are looking forward to enchanting the audience.
