Luxembourg's Little Switzerland
Often referred to as Luxembourg’s Little Switzerland, the Mullerthal Region - or Mëllerdall in Luxembourgish – owes its name to its hilly landscape reminiscent of real Switzerland. The Mullerthal Region is above all a unique biotope characterized by rock formations as beguiling as surprising and which owe their aspect to millenniums of erosion.
14 communes contribute to the cultural diversity and dynamics of the tourist Region Mullerthal. Most of them are essentially rural and surrounded by a beautiful nature.
Parts of the region are about to become a nature park. The main objective of the futur Naturpark Mëllerdall is the sustainable development of the region.
